This is the 2nd post from me about PB Garena, same as the first problem that I had found earlier (you can read the first problem here). As you know, about from July until this December 2015, almost the majority of people who use squid proxy they can't get in to the game. When "Start Playing" pressed, nothing happens. What happens with this game? This post related to Squid 3.5.7 Tproxy support https that has been explained here.

Many people solve this problem with bypass IP of PB Garena, forcing squid to deny cache XEM extension, or replacing xincode with previous versions.

After some trial, I think this is about authentication problem. Still don't believe? Let's solve this problem together:
  1. Open your squid config (you can get my squid config here)
    # nano /etc/squid/squid.conf
    Find these words!
    ssl_bump splice localhost
    acl 9 at_step SslBump1
    acl 10 at_step SslBump2
    acl 11 at_step SslBump3
    ssl_bump peek 9 all
    ssl_bump bump 10 all
    ssl_bump bump 11 all
  2. Change with these words!
    ssl_bump splice localhost
    acl 9 at_step SslBump1
    acl 10 at_step SslBump2
    acl 11 at_step SslBump3
    ssl_bump peek 9 all
    ssl_bump stare 10 all
    ssl_bump splice 11 all
  3. Check your config first:
    # squid -k parse
  4. If there are no errors, reload your configuration!
    # squid -k reconfigure
It's time to check out. Try to play PB Garena Now.
NB:
  • This post based my personality experience, the result are your own risk.
  • This config working on ubuntu server 14.04 with Squid 3.5.7 Tproxy support https Installed. This SSL Bump configuration also working fine for another secure sites (https) than configuration before.
